CF7 Views not only empower you to showcase entries on your website’s frontend but also grant you precise control over which entries to display. It comes equipped with built-in settings that enable you to filter Contact Form 7 entries based on specific field values.
Here are the steps to filter entries by field value using Views for WPForms:
- Start by Editing Your View
- Access CF7 Views Pro -> Views to view a list of all the views you’ve created. Select the one for which you want to enable the filter by field value feature.
- Access CF7 Views Pro -> Views to view a list of all the views you’ve created. Select the one for which you want to enable the filter by field value feature.
- Access the Filters Settings in the Sidebar
- Click on ‘Filter Settings,’ and then click the ‘Add’ button.
- Click on ‘Filter Settings,’ and then click the ‘Add’ button.
- Choose the Form Field for Filtering Results
- Click the ‘Add’ button next to the ‘Filter’ label. You’ll be presented with three fields where you can select the form field, specify the condition, and set the value for comparison. You can filter by multiple field values by clicking on the ‘+’ icon. The view will display only those entries that match ALL filter conditions within the group.
- For example, the filter below will display entries that meet all of the following conditions:
- Have ‘Name’ field values equal to the John
- Have ‘Email’ field values equal to ‘john@example.com‘
- Save Your View
- Click on the ‘Save View’ button to save your changes. Your frontend view will now exclusively display entries that match the field conditions you’ve configured.
